Who is responsible

Slonware LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, is responsible for the website and business contact information described here. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to contact@slonware.com.

This notice covers website visits, inquiries, proposals and the administration of business relationships. Personal data handled on a client’s behalf during software development is subject to the relevant client agreement and any required data-processing arrangements.

Information we receive

An email may include your name, email address, company, role, project description and attachments. Later discussions may also create correspondence, proposals, agreements and invoicing records. We receive only the details relevant to how you choose to contact or work with us.

Hosting and email providers may process IP addresses, browser information, request times, delivery information and security logs. The information recorded depends on the provider and its configuration.

Please leave passwords, access tokens, production datasets and sensitive personal information out of an initial inquiry. If the work requires access to them, we will agree an appropriate exchange and access method first.

How we use information

• To answer inquiries and discuss possible work.
• To prepare proposals, agree scope and administer client relationships.
• To maintain relevant business, invoicing and accounting records.
• To handle security incidents, disputes and legal obligations.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on the basis relevant to the activity, such as taking steps toward an agreement, performing an agreement, legitimate business interests or a legal obligation. If a particular activity requires consent, we will request it.

An inquiry does not subscribe you to a mailing list. We do not sell or rent personal information or use it to create advertising profiles.

Cookies and tracking

The current website code sets no cookies and uses no visitor analytics, advertising pixels or third-party embeds. Its navigation and small interactive features run in your browser.

The Copy email button writes our public email address to your clipboard when selected. It does not read your clipboard.

If we introduce a feature that changes how information is collected or used, we will update this notice and provide any notice or choice required for that feature.

Providers and other recipients

Hosting, email and business-record providers may process information needed to supply their services. Relevant information may also be shared with professional advisers, a specialist approved for a client engagement or an authority when required by law.

Access should be limited to what is needed for the recipient’s role. Client-specific access and confidentiality requirements are agreed for the engagement.

Slonware works remotely, and providers or approved specialists may process information in different countries. Applicable legal requirements and any agreed restrictions on processing location still apply.

Retention and security

We retain inquiry information while it is needed to answer the inquiry, continue a relevant discussion or administer resulting work. For other records, retention depends on the agreement, the type of record and applicable accounting, legal or dispute-handling requirements. Information that is no longer needed should be deleted or de-identified.

We aim to limit the personal information collected and use safeguards appropriate to the information being handled. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Security requirements for client systems and data are agreed before access is provided.

Your requests

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction or ask us to delete it. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent or complain to a relevant privacy authority.

Email contact@slonware.com. We may need enough information to verify that the request is yours. We will respond as required by applicable law and explain any lawful reason for retaining information or declining part of a request.
